It started in 2013 with an Akai MPC on the bench. More than a decade later, Audio Custom has turned into a workshop dedicated to one thing — the visual side of legendary instruments.
We restore corroded, scratched and bent panels back to factory condition. Aluminium side cheeks for the Jupiter-8, wooden cheeks for the MPC 3000, full faceplates for Roland Space Echo 201 and 301 — each piece is straightened, refinished and finished by hand.
Or, if you prefer, we go the other way: a custom design in a colour of your choosing. The instrument stays the same. The way it looks on stage doesn't.
We work with private collectors, with musicians who want to keep their gear playing for another forty years, with recording studios — and with hardware makers who need finished panels for the synths they're building today.
Every job is hand-finished. No two pieces leave the shop identical, because no two pieces arrive that way.
Some panels are too far gone to restore. For popular instruments we make new metal replacements with the original layout and legends. Space Echo and Chorus Echo panels are available now, more models are on the way.

Building a synth or a modular system? Send us a sketch with dimensions. We take care of everything else: front panels, module panels and complete enclosures, from a single prototype to a production run of a few hundred pieces.

Many small parts of vintage instruments have been out of production for decades. We measure an original, model it and reproduce it with 3D printing, then finish it to sit naturally next to the original parts.

Yes. About 99% of our work goes abroad: to clients across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Panels and parts are packed for long-distance transit and we agree the shipping method with you for each job. Distance is not a problem, it's how we work every day.
No. We work on the visual side only: panels, side cheeks, enclosures and small parts. Electronic repairs stay with your technician, and we're happy to work alongside them.
